Have you ever thought about all the things you always believed about yourself?
Like, “I’m always late,” “I’m crap at this,” “This isn’t for me,” “I’m not good enough,” “I’ll never be successful,” “I’m too old/too young for this,” “I can’t ask for what I want,”
“I always pick the wrong people,” “I’m not like them,” “I don’t belong there,” “I’m too anxious to try,” “I’m bad with money,” “I can’t travel alone,” “I’m too emotional,”
“I don’t deserve this,” “I’m just not the type to do that.”
We carry all these ideas about ourselves like a backpack, and most of the time we don’t even notice. They quietly tell us what to try, what to avoid, and how far we’ll go and honestly?
They mostly keep us stuck in a small, familiar, and kind of awful comfort zone.
This section is about giving yourself permission to step out of those stories.
To see the mental blocks for what they really are made-up rules, fears, and assumptions and start quietly dismantling them.
I’m going to share the real things I’ve noticed, the labels I used to carry, and the little ways I started giving myself permission to be different even when it felt wrong, uncomfortable but mainly impossible.
